A few reminders for tomorrow, Friday, May 11, 2012:

- Swimming for students in grades 3 – 6 tomorrow.  Students will leave school at 8:45 a.m.
- Senior Band Workshop at St. Andrew’s in the am session.
- Bake sale in the am – all items 25 cents in support of a family undergoing medical care.

Congratulations to the following individuals who are the winners of our ticket lottery.

1st. prize $1000.00 – Winner is Cathy Best (grandmother of grade 1 student).
2nd prize $500.00 – Winner is Monique Baird (mother of grade 6 student).
3rd. prize $200.00 – Winner is Terry Hall (uncle of Kindergarten student).

- Our Easter Assembly will take place tomorrow, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the school gymnasium.  Our Awards Assembly will take place just before the Easter Assembly.  All parents and friends of Holy Cross are invited.
- Please return by tomorrow any tickets you are not able to sell as we have other families who wish to sell extra tickets.
- Wishing all students and families a very Happy and Joyous Easter!

Holy Cross Happenings

1.  Second term reports go home on Tuesday, March 13.  Congratulations to all students who had a successful second term.  Keep up your great work and study habits in term three.  For those who did not get the results hoped for, it is critical that your child apply him/herself fully during third term to ensure a successful school year.

2.  Parent-teacher interviews take place on Thursday, March 15.  Students are dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.  No hot lunch on this day.  Please check your child’s bookbag for a note from his/her teacher about your interview time.

3.  No classes for students on Friday,  March 16 as teachers will be attending a Professional Development session.

4.  Our Elementary Concert takes place on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $3.00 – available at the door.

4.  Our annual Shave for the Brave takes place on Monday, April 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium.  We  have a number of students and adults participating in the event this year.

5.  Our March newsletter was sent home last week.  If you haven’t seen it yet, please check your child’s bookbag.  Important information on various happenings are contained in the Newsletter.  Please check our website (Parents – Newsletters) if you require another copy.
